Can anyone recommend a replacement rear shock i can put into a 08 Enduro that i am going to build. Eye to Eye it measures 222mm. I don't fancy the specialized afr so am looking for suggestions?
Cheers

I've just bought a 222x64 DHX Air 5.0 as both the manuals and Specialized website clearly state that size...it's too long.So I telephone Specialized UK today and they didn't realise the error(the info is only 3 years old  )
The correct size is 200mmx57mm(7.875X2.25).The size in the manuals is the size for the 05-07 Enduro's,not the SLs.
I've been scratching my head as to why the shock wouldn't fit so I had my AFR shock eye-to-eye measured at work with a set of digital Verniers and then phoned Specialized for confirmation.
I now have to sell on the DHX and start again :roll:0 -
I have an 08 S-Works Enduro and a Fox RP23 works a treat. I can also confirm the size is 200mm X 57mm.

Did you buy on-line?
You can still return it even if you have attempted to install it. Your only obligation is take reasonable care of the item and return it with the packaging.
Even if you have taken it out of the packaging and installed it you can still cancel the order within 7 days under the Distance Selling Regs.
Check their ts and cs carefully.. a lot of the on-line retailers breach the DSRs with regard to cancellation rights, so you would have 3 months and 7 days to cancel if they do.0 -

Just put one on my enduro to replace the afr, made a huge difference and can't recommend it highly enough - expensive though0
