Hi Guys,

I have seen this bike at an auction online (Not eBay). I can go see the item if I want to.

There is not information given about it so I thought it would be best to ask you guys.

It is a GT Chucker 2.0

What are these bikes like? I am asking because I might be able to get it cheap.

Does anyone know what age or frame size it is from the picture?

  • I did get a few bargains (Well I think I did):

Carerra Subway (Looks to be in good condition/very good). £40
GT Chukcker 2.0 (Looks good/ OK condition). £100

    Did I get good buys?

    Thanks

    That's good news then!!! :D

Does anyone know what year it could be so I could look up the spec of it? Are these bikes quite heavy?

    Cheers

It looks as though it is a few years old, the Halfords XS series with 'tribal' graphics has been out since at least 2007 although I believe the proppa GT 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 can still be found.

In standard form the Chucker is insanely heavy but it's only noticeable when lifting it or on the first few turns of the pedals. The frame is incredibly lively with loads of 'pop' and once moving it sheds its weight. It has a good, indestructable feel without being harsh.

The bike in the picture looks as though it has some semi-decent forks which is no bad thing as the standard RST Launches weigh over 7lbs
