i have just got into mtbing and love every minute of it. my old teenage bike is sort of doing a job but its time to renew. ive begged borrowed and stole(only joking) to get some funds to buy a new bike. i have been online reading hundreds of reviews and i think i have narrowed it down to 3 bikes. i know they are varied in price and spec but this is my conclusion.
orange g2
Carrea fury
cube acid
but i dont know wot one to choice. help me please with any experiences you have had with these bikes, or any other ideas i can push the budget to 700.

At £700 you could include a Boardman as well which have a very good spec0
-
i thought about the boardman too but thought the other bikes were better. would you choose the broadman for this price range. im edging towards the cube just because of the price at the mo. chain reaction have got great deals on them.0

the cube im looking at now is the LTD comp @ £575 this just seems like a right deal wot do you think or should i push the boat out and go for the orange, it looks a lovley bike but is it better spec wise for the pounds. HELP!!!!!!!!0

that sounds and looks an awesome bike i have justed looked on wiggle.
is this the bike you would go for @ £600 or has anyone else got any ideas, this is great help.
thank you0 -
just reading some other reviews about the felt trail shot its not for me. its only got dual crank and is more for jumping not XC.
im thinking of the broadman or the carrea fury now, just purely for spec and price. i cant find other brand bikes with this spec and price.
any ideas0
