Can any one recommend an adjustable seatpost for a 2009 orange cos I’ve heard some of them aren’t very well sealed.

I would wait until the rock shox and fox come out and have proper reviews and real life tests.

i would buy a joplin if you want a good looking post which is reliable but requires regular servicing.

all i do is about 10 minutes work after every couple of rides as preventative maintenance, ive never found any dirt inside my post but they do tend to dry out a bit after a few hours use as there is no liquid inside like inside a fork, just grease. all i need to do is to open it up, reapply some grease, job done.

i havent had my gravity dropper for long but it will probably need a bit less maintenace as it is fitted with a boot which i am assuming will keep any seals protected for longer. also, typically, no one complains about GD reliability.
