Steptoes vs Oakley

It seems that Oakley have terminated their sales via BR favourite Steptoes who now have various Oakley frames/spares on offer. Brand realignment or some such thing

    Oh dear, sad news for Steptoes, they've been excellent value.
    Seems a strange decision when Oakley are constantly battling counterfeit stuff being sold on eBay.

    Still, cheers for the heads-up, just bought 2 replacement XLJ lenses for £56.

    Probably some move to force prices up and protect dealer margins altho Steptoes must have shifted some product

    Has this been going on for a while?

    I have found Radar Range Customs on the web at a supplier noted as an official distributor on the Oakley site with over 40% discount compared to Oakley themselves.

    Was going to have one last look at Blenheim Bike Day and Earls Court before final decision unless it turns out Oakley are chasing the discount merchants.
