Winter rechargeable lights

Thinking about some rechargeable LED front lights for winter bike, not much more than £100.
I am thinking that generally the battery pack can be disconnected at the battery end for recharging, is this correct?? I use my winter bike for commuting in the week and training rides on Sundays so I would like the battery pack easily removeable.
Anybody got any of these, any have any thoughts on 'em...

proper beam shaping, puts light where you need it, not up in the trees
rechargeable, also will run off 4x aa batteries
Will report back on how they perform.
