Well partook of this yesterday, and scored with two out of my three "tosses". Did not get near winning, but what a great experience, amazing location and fantastically friendy people.

Will be back next year!!

How many hops for the winner? I have once (and only once) managed 14. By the end, the stone seemed to be intent on setting sail across the pond.
Swim. Bike. Run. Yeah. That's what I used to do.

    Bike 1

How do you count 14 hops? By the time I get towards 10, the hops are so short/fast that it's all but impossible to count individual bounces...
    Pannier, 120rpm.

Nice to see a Scottish hosted event won by an Englishman.....
  • My record is also about 14, some of us have good throwing arms, so each bounce is still a fairly long way. More details, please, Wallace. I could be a contender, y'know!
  • Ah, it's not the bounces, it's the total distance. Come on, Wallace, give us your distance. Or are you ashamed at being such a useless tosser.

Are you sure you'll make tonight's run after all that exertion yesterday.
