I just got this bike yesterday, thanks to C2W scheme, so here's a rundown of my story so far!
Evans at Gatwick - Thanks to Rachel and Aaron, for taking the time to explain differences between Specialized/Pinnacle (2.0 & 3.0)/Kona and Fuji. I test rode all of these models, tho' not all were available in my size, so things maybe were'nt scientific in comparison!
The selection seemed to be less well specced running gear/brakes on the best frames, and vice versa, and the Peak 2.0 would've allowed some accesory purchasing too. In particular, Rachel suggested that the bike was worth spending the whole amount on, which is what I did in the end.
My choice of Peak 3.0 was based on the belief that the frame geometry (which was very close in 'mm' to a Specialized, but being less respected by the MTB fraternity) allowed me to feel comfortable, and get some Tektro hydro brakes, and Sram X5 DR's and shifters. For me this seemed the best of both worlds, so in the end it was a no brainer. Some have said the resale value was nowhere near as good - BUT, I'm buying it to ride now, not to sell in a year!

Pinnacle Peak 3.0 - On 2 rides today, each of 6 miles only (!), I've got some feedback already!
Comfort - this is exactly how it felt it would - I can reach everything I need, and it IS comfortable!
Gear changes - Slick and quick, without any concerns (except, as I'm used to STI's on my (now gone) Carrera, remembering which way to push the shifters!)
Brakes - Definitley have the promise of reliable stopping, I'm looking forward to the bedding-in to be complete.
Tyres - Kenda Nevegals, Great for the road, and off road, not to sure yet, the PF visited at the 3 mile point, just as I was heading for home! ( As I was walking the dog, I didn't take the saddle pouch, so the return journey was WALKING!)

Conclusion
I know it's only been 24 hours, and I realise that cables will stretch, pads need adjusting etc. but I'm so happy that I've got the bike I wanted. It feels great, and I'm looking forward to riding it lots. My plan for the SDW before christmas will hopefully workout.
The worst bit about the PF was that it was right on a seam, and the glueless patch didn't work - so I used the 'old fashioned' glue and patch!

Hope this helps someone - I'll add some pics to this post, as soon as I get somewhere nice on my Peak 3!

:D

So far, I'm really happy with my C2W purchase, I've got mudguards to get, and some wiring to clean up for my front (SMART BL - refurbed!) light.

Then some fitness gaining before a short (30 mile) test ride on the downs in a week or so!
