I am about to purchase a cheap frame to build up with old parts I have, to use as a back up and in bad weather etc. etc.
Just wondering if anyone has this frame and if so would they recommend it?

  • What type of fork/headset do you have and what is the gap between fork and frame? I ordered prolite fork and cane creek headset but have a 3-4mm gap. Customer service says this is normal???

That's good to know markyone, cheers.
Was there a recommended amount of spacers in 'mm' below the stem that the fork could take gpkelly82? I couldn't find anything on Ribble about it.
  • The problem is below the headtube. The gap between frame and crown of fork is about 4mm once fitted. The crown race is flush with the crown of the fork.

I think i have 4 x 5mm spacers below the stem but this will only affect the handlebar height and does not change the gap between fork and frame.

The steerer tube of the fork provided is around 300mm if that's what you're wondering.
