Paint Touch Up

I'm looking for advice on touching up the frame of my winter bike.

I had to have the cable housings on my Orbea Asphalt removed and rivetted back on and there has been some paint damage around those areas.

It's an Aluminium frame. How do I go about preparing the area and what paint should I use?

There already appears to be some oxidising on the affected areas.

Halfords sell touch up pens in a massive range of colours that come with primer, colour and clear lacquer. Very basically you just sand the area a little, apply primer, apply colour, apply lacquer then wetsand and polish - do a search online for repair/touch up car paint chips to get more detail
  • Thanks for the advice.

Went up to Halfords today and was able to pick up the pens and an almost identical match.

    Cost £11.99.

    Perfect. Thanks a lot.
