Noob disc brake question

I have Avid Elixir 4s on my Specialized and I want to bleed the front break as it's spongy as fook.
As Elixir 4's are a custom mish mash of Juicy 3 calipers and Elixir 5 levers, could somebody answer me three simple questions?
1) In the below image is the green highlighted circle the bleed port?
2) If the official web site for Avid/SRAM says Juicy 3 uses Dot 4 oil and Elixir 5 uses Dot 5.1, which should I use?
3) Will this bleed kit do the job? (Link below)

Thanks for your help.

1) looks like it.
2) 4 or 5.1
3) yes.
as per the manual

Thought it was bad to mix the different types?
Also you can get the official kit £7 cheaper on CRC.0 -
chedabob
why?
they are both fully mixable.
all that can happen is the specs could be lowered or raised by the other fluid.
also some DOT 4 is actually the same or exceeds DOT 5.1 fluid."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Coming from car experience it is 5 that you can't mix as it it is silicone based not polyethylene glycol. Will get messy if you do!
Why the hell they went from dot 4 to dot 5.1 for similar stuff and then stuck silicone based right in the middle calling it 5 I will never know.0 -

So how the hell am I supposed to know what oil type is in it now if it's a mixed system and what am I supposed to do?

it does not matter.
just use the fluid that comes in the Kit.
Andy! why bring up DOT5 when it has nothing to do with the topic? Or or you just trying to confuse issues."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
