Swapping Shimano SLX levers (left to right)

I have in the past swapped Shimano XT levers ie left to right and vice versa which was very easy to do. No need for a new olive or insert and I didn't even need to bleed them.

Are the new SLX brakes as easy? Or has the design changed in some way?

Nothing to do with the levers, you just swap one hose to the other! Yes, should be the same method, but if in doubt DL the tech document.

Thanks for the reply Sonic. Yes you're correct - more accurate to say I'm swapping hoses rather than levers - but the end result is the same ;-)

The brakes were the "wrong" way around - ie left lever for front brake - American style.
