Was debating something with a bit more comfort for long event next week so was looking at the Spoon as my saddle is past it's best.
So, looking and there's others like the Knife, poacher and stool models..
Anyone given any of them a go ?

Yeah, I use the Knife on all my bike, used to use Spoons. Both great saddles but the Knife fits me better, it's quite skinny and doesn't have much shaping, and almost no padding too... So for some people it's probably absolutely brutal to sit on but I don't even wear padded shorts and I get on perfectly with them, took something like 120km in 3 days in france before I started really feeling the pain (a day longer than most of the others!)
I like a skinny saddle, it gets in the way less, and the fairly simple shape's nice too, I could do with a wee bit more of a dropped nose though but other'n that it's the best saddle I've used. Quite different from the Spoon when you get up close, despite looking similiar from a distanceUncompromising extremist0 -
