Easton freehub compatibility
Can any one shed any light on this?
I recently had to take apart my Easton freehub (V2 hub/EA50 wheels)
It looks identical to an R4 freehub, which looks identical to a Shimano Dura Ace 7801 freehub (except the splines on my V2 freehub are shallower to allow SRAM cassettes.)
So what gives?
I even saw, that my freehub (Easton V2) is made in... Japan!
Can anyone shed any light on this?
I am struggling to find Easton V2 freehubs. Found one on CRC for £60 but I want one that is Shimano 10sp specific with deeper splines.
The Shimano 10sp R4 hub seems the one I want, but difficult to find in stock at a reasonable price. Will it be compatible?
What about a Shimano Dura Ace 7801 freehub? From the pictures it looks identical!
