I have seen a 2009 Scott Addict SL at a good price and I am thinking about buying it. Im pretty sure the SL is the same as an Addict but without the ISP to make it that bit lighter.
However what I would like to know is how it compares to the 2010 range. Say is it the same as an R1, R2, R3 etc? I know the R4 uses a lower grade carbon to the top end stuff.
Also I have read some reviews of the top tube cracking because of the thin carbon. Is this true? I think it was mainly 2008 models so they have probably sorted it if there was a problem.
