If I was going to pay that much it would probably be Sidis or custom Bonts.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Indeed, but Marcel Wurst is using them, so they can't be bad!

    Just considering options.

Hi. I know this is a very old post but since I've recently bought a pair of Suplest S1 Cross Country shoes I thought I'd add a quick review.
The shoes are really good quality, I have replaced a pair of Diadora and I'd say they're a step up. I don't think I would pay the full RRP but got them for £70 from jejamescycles and it's a pretty good bargain. The fit is slightly more generous than other cycling shoes I have owned in the past (I would usually have to order at least 45 in other brands but 44 Suplest is a good fit for me). The black and white upper is really smart and I really like the simplicity of its looks. I've been using them for a couple of weeks and after a few rides they feel pretty comfortable. The only issue I have had is compatibility with SPD pedals. I have Shimano M520 pedals on one of my bikes and these shoes are NOT compatible with them. The main problem is that the sole grips are too deep and the cleat simply doesn't reach far enough to clip onto the pedal. It's a matter of millimeters and I guess as the grips wear down the problem will rectify itself, but I thought it worth mentioning.
Other than that I would happily recommend them.
