xt or xtr disc brakes

Hi iam going to get new disc brakes, i was going to get xt but are the xtr alot better for the money

    I can't comment on the XT but the XTR's are a great brake, I woud imagine the main difference is in the weight.

    if you want more power then go Saint, but then they are heavier

    I have XT stoppers on my HT and they're great brakes, theres plenty of stopping power to hand in every condition (including snow and ice afta last winter) and the modulation is up there with the best brakes out there.

    I run mine with 203mm rotors fr/bk and ive never failed to stop yet even in some extreme instances where i didnt see the turn comin until i was right on top of it, the brakes allowed me to get around it by the skin of my teeth and live to see another day.

    My first love are hope brakes but as funds are tight im more than happy with the XT's :D
