Meant to ask this ages ago.
I've had an Aerozine CF crankset and SKF HTii btm bracket (From superstar) installed for 18 months or so.
When installing them I nipped up the btm bracket as per the (rubbish) instructions and then tightened down the left hand crank to fasten it all together.
There are no grub screws or other method of tightening this crank, so it is just a bolt on the left crank that pulls the two sides together.
Now in the manual it says 45Nm of torque on this bolt and unless it is very tightly nipped the whole thing is loose.
When it is tightened the plastic seal on the bearing race seems to bend and crack and the cranks will not turn more than 1/6th of a revolution when 'pushed' backwards manually.
It seems to work ok on the trail but I am wondering if this is correct as there is a lot of friction somewhere !
Does anybody have any thoughts ?

It appears to work the same as some other external BB/crank systems where the seal effectively adds preload.
I would contact Superstar to see if they can help - it may just need a spare.0
