Polar CS200, not working

Hi,

I have replaced the battery im by Polar CS200 head unit and belt, and there is no response whatsoever from the unit.

I have tried holding down all three buttons to restart, this has no affect.

However, when i hold the battery in place tightly at the back of the unit, it becomes functional. It could possibly be a problem with the enclosure.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, or had suffered the same scenario!?

    Had the same problem. I solved it by placing a small square of folded paper between the back of the battery and the cover to keep a little extra pressure on the battery.

    I've tried this but no joy for some reason! I'll persevere!
