Pressure gauge knackered?

According to the pressure gauge on my pump, my tyres (Conti Speed Kings 2.3) are about 25 psi, but it still requires a fair bit of force to press the tread in. Does this pressure sound about right or is the gauge on the pump well out?

Find someone with another pump and check.

Try your shock pump - different scales but will check if you're in the correct ballpark
