I hope they're good cos I ordered one last week from chainreaction. It looks good and has windtex technology. Fits well too. Going by my only other Giordana garment (carbon windproof tights) they should be very good. The Giordana stuff seems to be well made and fit for purpose.
I'd imagine I'll be wearing it a lot this winter.0 -
So, now you've got it, is it any good? I might buy one...
Thanks.0 -
Hi Intrepid.
I have had it a while now but only worn it a couple of times as it's not really been cold enough.
It is a good piece of kit though and I am the fussy type. I bought the large when in most other cases I would buy a Medium but like most Italian wear they tend to size smaller.
It tends to be a race fit but not overly tight.
I got it as a cold weather piece and I feel it will be good for the days down to 0 degrees.
I wore it one day when it was about 11-12 deg and was too warm. I felt this would be the case but I wanted to try it out.
The other day I wore it and temp was about 8 deg and it was just right. I had a HH baselayer underneath and I would imagine with a Merino wool one it would be good down to zero and below (although I rarely cycle if there's ice/frost).
At the lower temp it seemed to be very breathable and kept my temp quite constant.
Another garment I have which has been a great buy is the Campagnolo Textran Convertible Jacket. This works all year round and I was layering this on cold days.
The Giordana one though will be kept for the colder days up here.
Hope this makes some sense!0
