What sort of riding ? And for what bike ?
What tyre are you riding at the moment ? What do you like not like about it ??0 -
Mountain biking usually up afan argoed and i ride a trance x4.
At the moment i have 2x kenda nevagals on, 2.1 back and 2.35 rear. Either looking for same sizes or maybe running both 2.35s
I seems to lose the back end alot during wet/muddy conditions0 -

I usually run a swamp thing up front and have had no issues with losing the front end, the rear is usually a high roller, or advantage (i think) or something else. alway bigger up front aswell.0

Nevegals shovel mud OK, but the 2.35 is likely to float around on really slippy stuff rather than finding grip, big tyres aren't ideal for some muddy conditions unless they have really major knobbles likes a swamp thing. Mud X is a great winter tyre though not much volume.Uncompromising extremist0

If you want out and out MUD then Mud X or Trailraker.
If you mainly ride Afan then go have a chat to the guys @ Skyline. I think you all use Crossmark Rear and Advantage front. Another to consider would be Ignitor.
I find black chilly 2.2 Mountain Kings work for me changing to Mud X for real muddy stuff.
It's very much a personal thing.0 -
Swampthings are great for mud, but increase rolling resistance. Maxxis High rollers are a good mixed-mess tyre for the winter0
