The lad at work who got a road bike from Halfords has not got on with it. He has to ride along an A road and the traffic is too damn scary for him.

He's offered me the bike for £250 when it cost him £350.

I've told him to have a think to make sure he is sure in case he is just having a bad week. He's only had it a few weeks and he's been on holiday for half the time.

Maybe try find him an alternate route along some B roads, not sure wether you should take it if it definately doesn't want to ride it.
And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

I'd rather he kept cycling, but if not that's a good saving if he doesn't and you want the bike!

  • Not seen him today. I'm not going to pressure the guy.
