Suprise suprise being the ultimate downhill coward I have worn down the pads on my Formula brakes

Sintered last longer (especially in wet/gritty conditions) organics give a better bite.

Sintered can also lead to overheating on really long descents, if they're used hard, continuously.

I would think about Superstar Kevlar pads, they have the power advantages of organic but they last about as long as sintered but don't overheat as easily as sintered.

    They are a great compromise
