Groupset upgrade advice for Bianchi Infinito and Scott Cr1

Im thinking of upgrading my CR1 from Tiagra (which would go on my winter bike) to something lighter as I really like the CR1 frame and it seems a real shame not to do her proud by upgrading the wheels ang groupset to something lighter and more bling. My problem is my other bike runs Campag and equally the frame is spot on. Im sure there are others who have different groupsets makes and wonder what they have done . My options are
Upgrade the athena and pop that on the CR1
Just fit ultegra / sram and live with the fact I cant swop wheels
Im tempted with the 2nd option as Im a shimano fan at heart (though I get on well with the campag )
Any pointers I should consider?
