Looks like the new lumicycle LEDs will be up soon
LED 3 XPG ATL 1340 Lumen is listed on there website but no details...
Good to see they are upgrading the LEDs from XPE R2s to and XPG (not sure what the ATL means mind you, does anyone know if this is a LED model/term, or soemthing else)
Also interesting they are not listing two lumen values, for example the current LED4s and 3s are listed like the below for a single head unit or two (mind you the HIDs only list one)
LED 4 Bike Light 1120/2240 Lumen
LED 3 Bike Light 850/1700 Lumen
Presuming it is an upgrade and that a single LED3 unit has gone from 850 to 1340 (58% improvement??!?!?! seems to much!) hopefully they will do an upgrade option like they did for LED3 owners to go to LED4s.
Not to interested in the extra lumens but the longer run time, for example at 350ma the XPE R2 generates 114 lm, the XPG-R5 (not sure what model they are using) generates 139lm, 20% improvement. Thats presuming each mode just isn't ramped up 20%, but then the uber low mode could be mre useful!) (I have presumed cool white in the figures above for the LM output and it is manafactures quoted figures)
I like my gear to much!
