find the pic you want mate, copy the address and paste it into your message. then highlight the address and hit the 'img' button in the tool bar above. 'img' will appear at either end of the address in your message and then the pic will show when you submit your message :D

not sure that worked, you didn't allow for me being an absolute technical biff.

What if I wanted to upload a photo from my computer, or a memory stick. :?

you need to upload your photo to a photo hosting site (such as flickr) then find the image url (this should have .jpg after it show that it is an image) then do what welsh kev said about highlighting url and img button.

    Voila.

    Hope that helps

Hihi, the problem with your link above is that your linking to a webpage that the image sits in. You need the actual image link... ie the link with ".jpg" on the end.

The photos FAQ... hope this helps.

sladey, you didn't copy the whole address. it'll come out like above :D

all i did was copy that pic into another tab and open it, right click the pic and select properties, then copy the url and paste here, then img etc etc

you'll need to upload any pics to pinkbike first like you did with that bike pic mate :D

see where it says 'quote' in the top right corner.

just press that on the message you want to quote/reply to and it'll appear in your message box :D

now get up a ladder and go put out some fires

hmm. i cannot find on flickr where to get this. i can see where it says to share and even an option to get link to photo, but nothing with jpg after it
  • load the pics onto tinypic.com, it gives you the url to copy and paste, it even puts the boxes in too! No logging in either.2ymbsrq.jpg

    That bike looks great.

Btw, every picture's url is here:
Right Click on the picture >> Image Properties >> and there you have it in the window.

For Flikr you need to click on the pic, choose the size then right click and copy the image location (on Firefox anyway)

http://imgur.com instead of Tinypic. Tinypic quite often take images down for using too much bandwidth.

If you have an MSN, or hotmail, or Xbox live account, you can also use www.Skydrive.live.com

It uses your MSN/Xbox/etc login, is completely free, and gives you up to 25gigs of storage.
