Is it easy to replace gear inner cable on campag? I guess pull back the hood and have a look see? Can't do it until the weekend as it's my work bike.
Say... That's a nice bike..

Just as you say, nice and easy. I think it's smallest sprocket position that you need the shifter in, can't remeber without looking, but youo'll see the cable nipple clearly with the hood drawn back when you have it in the correct position. Be sure to buy campag compatible gear cables as the nipples are smaller.

You don't even need to pull back the hood.
Campag gear cable comes out of an opening beneath the brake lever.

It will be obvious when you push out the old cable.
Just slide the new cable in, and secure in place.
Make sure you get it through the cable guide attached to the bottom bracket shell.

Genuine Campagnolo cables have a 'C' stamped on the nipple. Pull back the hood and press the thumb lever a few times to return the ratchet 'home'. Remove the old cable and try the head of the nipple in the housing - if its too big / tight, file it down slightly as it will be a b*gger to get out after.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
