Hi guys.
Can you tell me the genral angle a head stock should be at for genral XC use bike . And how would you measure it , thinking of changing my forks but want to keep the angle right . i'v put suspentson forks on a Marin frame that did not have suspension .
Thanks Rob H

about 71 degrees. which would have been about what it was with the old fork.
there are angel measuring tools out there. some digital spirit levels and there are apps of some of the new phones etc. just make sure the surface is level."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Wow typing is a mess.
Your good old angle measuring tool from year 3 works just as well, and can be had for about a pound at most staples. I think their protractors or something, but can't remember the name.0 -
Would you take the angle while on the bike to allow for suspention sag ?0

some manufacturers quote angles with and with out sag, so can be hard to compare. But I think normally you would measure with out sag, as different people can like different amounts of sag.0

it depends.
it is often at full extension or at a given axle to crown height.
for you it does not matter. then use the 25mm of change in the A--C height is a change of 1 degree."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
