Have bought a Brooks B17S as a prezzie and have some of leather furniture cream lying about the house already
Can I just treat the saddle with it?

Depends on the ingredients, may be fine, may ruin the saddle. Brooks only make one version of their Proofide, and nobody knows more than Brooks about leather saddles.Bikes, saddles and stuff

Yeah, think this stuff is just beeswax but without some of the other stuff in Proofide.
Just ended up buying the Proofide/spanner/cloth pack as it was only 7 quid from Evans. It's a present so may as well drop in the pretty looking Brooks branded stuff too.0 -
Good buy, it's usually around 6 for just Proofide.Bikes, saddles and stuff
