Well, I have an Endura Gridlock and a few Endura shorts. I find that their products are very well made. It gets good reviews from users on crc and a couple of WMB awareds too. I reckon it will be a very good jacket!

I have one, it's good but is very warm. November to March jacket really. Too warm for spring and early autumn.
Not climber, not sprinter, not rouleur
  • ahh that's what i was afraid of.

any ideas for a thinner version?

what's the difference between hardshell and softshell?

    Budget?

Icebreaker merino 200 base layer and Gore Path II is my winter choice. Did its job down to -5 and torrential rain last year. Its a very thin jacket so won't keep you warm unless you keep moving.

I was pricing up studded tyres earlier this week
  • budget not really an issue. just not extreme as the rule of diminishing returns still applies i guess. £150ish seems to be top end of what i want to pay.
