Shimano 10 speed casette spacer/washer...
Should these wafer thin spacers be used with all casettes (DA, Ultegra, 105...).
I have 6 casettes that I shuffle about, but only 2 spacers!
Never noticed when I bought the casettes, if they all started with the spacer, or not, as they're mostly bought used.
They're all 10 speed...

it depends on the wheels and the cassettes.
but all the shimano 10spd cassettes use the same spacer

I think it depends on what freehub you are using.
From memory if the freehub is 10sp only you don't need the spacer, but if it is 8,9,10 compatible you need the spacer - going from the instructions that came with a new cassette I installed recently.Mens agitat molem0 -
Cheers, guys... Sounds about right to me.
I use the spacer on all but my Easton EA90SLX wheels...Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0
