I just bought a set of Vittoria Open Pave' CG 2 (320 TPI) and would like to know from other owners what the circumference of the tyre is in millimeters, as used by CatEye computers.

The last set of Continental GP4000S came with the circumference written on the box (2122mm), and a hand measurement with a piece of string kind of confirmed it.

I will probably use the piece of string method again but if someone already knows the actual value that would help.

depends a lot on your pressure and weight too.

I'd measure it properly if I was you.

    Check tyre is inflated properly.
Place wheel with valve at the bottom, get on bike (seated!), roll forward one full rotation, mark floor.
Measure distance, stick result in computer...

Well, with the front tyre at 110 PSI, I got a measurement similar to the Continental GP4000S: around 211cm
So that's the number I programmed in my Cat Eye computer.
