Read numerous reviews/ articles about the fork still don't get what the whole motion controls thing is about... Am i supposed to lockout the fork then adjust the floodgate or adjust the floodgate with it off... and b) when no compression is on does the floodgate setting alter the performance of the fork i.e. force required to bottom out etc. Any replies welcome Ali

floodgate is only relevant to the locked fork.
motion control is the name for the damping cartridge.
1 have you read the manual.

Haha, no unfortunately my bike came with no manual, so no i have not read it, been trying to find one on the rockshox website to no avail, i have the rockshox revelation race dual air which has floodgate, compression adjust and reboud adjust on the right leg and the two air valves on the other.0
