hia, i had totally decided upon a boardman pro but after checkin the bank things were even worse than i thought , so i started looking at the TEAM out of curiosity and for someone of my standard im not sure theres any diffrence. but i would appreciate if someone coupld help me out with the following points please.
1. are the frames identical (i think they are)
2. the forks, from what ive tried to learn from internet do the forks work identically apart from the nob on top allowing you to adjust the gate without needing an alan key.
3.forks again, are they both air etc, or spring orrrrrr............
4.is the main diffrence between the two bike prices due to the x7 x9 x0 spec,

and lastly, if im correct that the forks internal workings are identical then am i right in thinking that these two bike will feel exactly the same to ride in all situations (not including when changing gears). i.e the frame, fork, geometry etc.

thanks for any advice, im kindof hopeing im wrong because i prefer the white bit if i cant justify the cost then i really cant afford to pay it.

thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu :)

Personally, I'd go with the cheaper one. There's not enough to justify spending the extra £150. It's probably slightly lighter, but if you're finding that to be an issue, you could always upgrade the components down the road.

If you can't justify the extra £150 for the Pro, the Team is a worthy replacement and one you won't be disappointed with

  • your right, because yeah the only differences are the sram bits and bobs, and the forks being SLs and Races.

basically, its depends how bling you wanna be, and how much of a weight weenie you are, because the pro is about 500g lighter (so i am led to believe)

Save harder, rob a bank, whatever and get the best you can to avoid ugrade-itis. In the long term £150 isn't much to avoid buyers remorse. That's what I do anyway.
