Bontrager Bzzzkill Dampers

There have ben a few, mainly US based, forum threads on these, with mixed opinions:-

but not here as far as I can see.

Has anyone here used them? Any good? Brass or aluminium insert?
There's no such thing as too old.

    Had both and didn't notice any difference but have seen Paris-Roubaix riders with them and not Bontrager sponsored riders (O'Grady was one) so maybe they do kill the buzz

    I've used brass ones on my winter alu frame bike for 3 years now. Seem to help but i've nothing scientific to base that on.

    I had them until one fell out, i didnt notice anything and only found out later they where buzz kill plugs..
    A bit of a gimik i felt
