Road Bike Adaption

Hi All,
After a few years without even sitting on my bike and a fitness level totally blown, I am really wanting to get my ass back in gear and take up cycling again.
I am looking for a new road bike with flat bars, maybe something like the Scott S20 after searching the net. I want a good bike in the price range of £700-£1000 and this just squeezes in, although I have no idea how good it is yet.
Anyway, the main point of my question is, I only have use of one arm and would like to adapt my bike so I can operate brakes and gears from the right hand bar. I did manage to get my old 2003 mountain bike adapted with both brakes working off one lever (not ideal as brakes lost a lot of there sharpness, but it was satisfactory) and I just kept gears as they were and solely used the front centre cog and made do.
Can anyone suggest a good bike dealer/repair shop that maybe capable of taking on an adaption for me. Without ringing around the country, I'm not sure of who are the good repair guys out there.
Thanks for any help.
