Hi,
Can anyone help, for some reason my singlespeed flip flop hub has locked up. It looks like a nut where the wheel meets the frame has locked into the hub itself. Can anyone suggest what might ghave happened and how to remedy this? The wheel will not spin at all.
Thanks

Do you mean the bearings have jammed? Undo the locknuts and loosen off the cones. They may just be done up too tight, although I'd probably take the cones off and check them to see if the surfaces or bearings are damaged.0

No, it doesn't appear to be the bearings, rather the nut on the inside of the frame has worked it's way towards the hub and then egaged so it won't spin at all... On the other side there is a gap between this nut and the hub of about a quarter of an inch.0

I'm struggling to understand which nut you're talking about. Are you able to post some pics?

Sounds like you need to do what Mister W advises.
Pictures of the problem may help though.More problems but still living....0 -
I'll try and get some pictures up this evening, but going from the outside there is a large nut, then frame, then a floating washer/nut to tighten against which is on the threaded axle and then the hub... Seems to be a gap on the other side between hub and washer/nut...0

I suspect the bearing has jammed / collapsed, picking-up on the cone and jamming the hubMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
