Carbon fibre frame scratch?

Rode the Perth round of teh SXC today and crashed badly......................more bothered about new bike!!!

Once I had stopped crashing teh seat post had dropped and turned around so teh carbon is all scratched also......

Handlebars twietsd round so brake lever hit off top tube question is.....

How do I get rid of scratches on seat post

and

will it have danmaged top tube.......only looks like its cracked the top laquer??

    Very risky asking people on a forum to say if an item they have not seen is safe or not.

    CF can shatter internally without being aparent significantly weakening and providing a route to castrophic faliure, or it might just be cosmetic damage.


    Ask an expert to look at the frame/post.

    I would be more worried about the post.
    look up shattered carbon fibre and femoral arteries.
