Just noticed the SRAM Red Limited offer on the new model SL Pro Carbon, just wondering if anyone knows any more about this frame?

Very popular frame. Its probably cheap as they now have the nanolight frame as their top CF road frame, and I think they said they'd over ordered on their SRAM red gruppos.

Yeah, its a crazy deal for SRAM Red (though its not the full gruppo). I'm interested to see what the Version 2 of the SL frame looks like though. So far just diagrams, no pictures. Is it a new decal or a whole new frame design?

    web site says:
The new version of our legendary full carbon road bike will be available in new colours and decals for 2011: in black, white and now Ferrari red and it really does look the business (more photos to follow as the frames come in).
, so it looks like blue and pink are dropped, red instead.

I might be tempted in telling my brother about this deal to buy it on the "Cyclescheme" and add the extra £100 :)

I just asked PX - it's a 'relaunch' of the SL Pro (unchanged geometry) with new logos and colour options. There's also a 'new version' of the fork listed, but not sure if this is also just with new logos/colours. Only the shifters and mechs on the SRAM Red build are Red; cogs are Rival, rings are FSA, calipers are OEM.

Still your getting a good bargain for £1099.

Yes, still very good value and nice to have red (the colour) as a frame option.

very very tempting....especially as I quite fancy a bit of racing next year, but with a few new bikes already this year I dare not in case of failing the S-1 rule :(

PX change thier builds pretty frequently, and full or partial Ultegra turns up quite often. They had a Shimano build just a few days ago, until the last batch of frames sold out. SRAM has a 'double tap' shifting system, so a bit different to Shimano or Campag.
