Do any cyclocross bikes have hydraulic disc brakes? Interested in upgrading my tourer to winter bike.
Say... That's a nice bike..

as yet there are no hydros. except on a Canyon concept bike that i have seen.
it is all to do with packaging in the current STI units."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Simple - nobody makes a drop bar lever/shifter for hydro brakes. Avid BB7s are plenty powerful enough in my experience, but with the UCI now allowing discs in Elite races, expect to see some nice developmentsMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Canti brakes are difficult to set up to work correctly - in cross racing, I consider them 'slower-downers' rather than 'stoppers' and just means I have to practise my running dismounts! What cantis do provide over vees is mud clearance - even when it's really muddy I've ground to a halt - picking up your bike and running for half a lap isn't fun.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
