I have a boardman road comp with a truvativ elit chainset and tiagra front derailleur. Will a 105 chainset (5700) fit with no probs? I have tiagra shifters too. This is the model I'm looking at http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/Bike+Shop ... t_1184.htm

Yes it will work, but you'll have to change the bottom bracket (the Truvativ uses a GXP BB) to a Hollowtech II for the Shimano chainset. If you're going for the 53 you'll have to move the front mech clamp up to accommodate & re-tension the front dérailleur cable.

Shimano chainsets normally come with the BB anyway (although there's some places like Ribble where that's not always the case). If your current chainset is a compact (34/50) you'll have to play about with the front mech position to (and maybe add a couple of links to the chain but doubtful)
