Mondraker Prayer

Hi,

Just back from my second trip to Morzine and between the 5 of us we tried a fair number of dh and freeride type bikes. I really took to the Mondraker Prayer which could handle everything we came across (not that we were hitting anything huge, but decent drops and 10 foot doubles were). I'm tempted to make this my next purchase as my riding is not dh but includes drops and jumps and messing around in bomb holes but ideally a ride back up the hill each time, rather than walking a big dh rig that some people do.

anyone on here own a Prayer or have any comments on it? I have found it new for close to £1,300 (15% off) with one retailer which to me seems a good deal compared to the prices of some of the bigger brands? Or am i missing something?

Cheers

Do like the Mondrakers, nice bikes for the money and at £1,300 it appears good value...though I would question that amount of travel for general trail riding and the type of stuff you mention as it wouldn't be that much fun up hill....take a look at the Foxy..based on a 140mm platform and around the same price and would be more than enough for your intended use
