Shimano deore Lx hb-m550 MTB front hub not rotating smoothly ? is this easy to service with 2 x 13mm cone spanners - can you use another other 13mm tool (Car) to save cost of cone s.? assume 9 or 10 ball bearings per side or is the above hub - sealed berings ? thanks GL

You need a cone spanner for the cone as it uses very thin flats. You can use any suitably sized spanner for the lock nut, I am guessing 15mm.

The hub is loose ball, but sealed - 10 as you say, probably 3/16. Shimano have tech docs, I'd download them to get the exact details.
