Thats right folks
The frame on the Saracen is giving up the ghost.
After fitting a new rear wheel tonight, I went for a ride and there was some aweful creaking.
So I got home and stripped the bike... BB fine, forks fine, headset fine.. etc etc.
So I started to see if it was the frame.
Lo and behold the frame is bending like a mofo.. I think the frame is bending under load and putting a load of stress on the weld running the length of the underside of the frame (it is a hollow tin can afterall!) causing a tremendous amount of creaking
Bit gutted like, I don't think i'll really be up for riding it.. I value my face too much
So I now have a donor bike....
RIP little Saracen.

Yea I know they can amplify noises, but when the frame is bare of parts and you can bend it by hand to make the crack noise......
