Rear light for a Cervelo S1

I've recently sold my commuter and am now using my S1 all the time. Unfortunately, due to the aero nature of the seat post my lights no longer fit there.

I tried mounting one on the seat stay, but that lasted a day before I caught it with my ankle and sent light and mount spinning into traffic.

Anyone got any experiance / recommendations of which lights and where to mount them?

Cheers.

to fit both the seatpost and the seatstay, better on the post.

It's got a rubbery sort of nature so will tighten around the aero post.

I attach mine to the saddle on my S2 or the saddle bag if you run one.

I should have mentioned that I've got a Fizik Arione saddle with an ICS iPak underneath. That makes it difficult to attach a light to it, and also rules out the ICS light.

How do you attach the light to the bag? Also, what light are you using?

The ICS Pak has no straps. It's uses a solid plastic clip which slots into the hole that is covered by the Fizik badge on the read underside of the saddle (the badge just pushes out).

You can have my rear light in exchange for your cervelo ?

Oh sorry - I thought you were asking to swap....

Cant you just move the light to where you cant catch it on the seat stay ? But I'd put a nother light on the other side though - sometimes the wheel bloicks the light if its down low,

I can't move the light becase it flew off into traffic to be run over by countless car and van wheels. I didn't go to recover it.

If nothing else works I'll just experiment again with the seat stays and I usually do have two rear lights on at a time.

There are some that join onto the seat stay, but can't for the life of me remember their name, might be worth investigating.

Sorry to jump in here, but I'm also after a good rear light for a Specialized shaped seatpost?

Can you not just zip tie it?

This BMC has what appears to be a Smart 1/2 watt attached.
