If I'm averaging around 18.5mph on my 9.5kg, standard wheeled, road bike, roughly what would I average over the same route (moderately hilly) on a tour bike?
Cheers..

Going from a 12.5kg steel framed tourer (48x11 top gear) to about an 8.5kg (or less) road bike (52x12) upped my average just under 2mph. I live somewhere pretty hilly and windy.http://www.strathspey.co.uk - Quality Binoculars at a Sensible Price.
