Hi there. I am thinking of turning my boardman hybrid into a road bike. I would keep the boardman frame. Is it possible to have a hybrid frame to use to become a road bike?

    If it has 700c wheels it is essentially a road bike anyway.
    If it has disc brakes then it would become a raod bike with disc brakes if you put some slick tyres on.
    If you change the handlebars for drops then you would need some suitable brake levers and shifters. STI levers are very expensive, but would only work with caliper/rim brakes.
    You might be better off to sell your hybrid and buy a road bike.

    If you have hydraulic brakes, it's simply not possible - unless you change the brake calipers too. It would cost hundreds - better to put the money towards a whole bike
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
