I have some fresh sti hoods for my bike. I wondered if anyone could tell me if its possible to swap them in situ? I have recently applied some fresh tape and would rather not have to take it off and renew it!

By the looks of it I ccould disconnect the cable/s and pull the hood right over the lever whilst on the bar. Really just looking for a bit of feedback from folk who have been there and done it.
