Does the above condition exist.
Going out in the weather we have been having is wonderful for the best tan I have had in years.
Problem is it only goes from the beginning of my gloves to the bottom of my jersey, same with the legs.
So when I go to the beach it looks like im wearing White gloves with a white T-shirt
Anyone else with the same?

I went out and done a 50 miler Saturday before last (remember, the really hot weekend before the England WC Game?) and came back with two tone legs because of the cycle shorts.

Bottom half, lower thighs downwards, deep brown tan
    Top half, pasty white.

I dont really think there's much you can do about it other than cover yourself in sunblock and be white all over! That seems to be the best idea, rather than wear a Borat style mankini.

When you set off at 6am for a long ride that cant really be helped if you are in the saddle at midday!

I believe that you will find that the time after midday is the after noon
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

My helmet has quite big holes at the front (Giro Atmos) and I ended up with 2 horn shaped tan marks on my forehead. I now have to wear a headband or cap under my helmet to stop this.

It exists. I came back from 3 months work in Italy a few years back with banded legs from cycling shorts, normal shorts, cossie at the top and cycling shoes, training shoes work boots at the bottom. Less said about that summers retro crochet mitts the better.

Loads of people have told me that I missed my hands when I was doing my fake tan. And they've been deadly serious.

Stripy legs and white feet are normal. White band below hairline on forehead happens. Small brown area on the back of the hands is possible if you wear gloves with an open back. All part of the fun!

You're lucky. I'm baldy and get a polkadot tan on my bonce. And white lid strap marks down the side of my face, tanned fingers / white hands / tanned arm.

Never had a tan in my life, so even a cyclists tan would be a bonus for me!

During the week I do all of my rides an hour or two before sunset, so my only chance of tanning is at the weekend if it's sunny. Which it isn't often enough.. I've got the tan line on the arms, but still only a barely perceptible one on the legs. Also find that the legs tan unevenly - top of the thighs and back of the calves are slightly tanned, but shins are still white!

That's the same as me. In the past I've claimed that my shins are my most Scottish bodypart. :D

At the moment I have lines round my ankles from my socks, lines round my calves from my kneewarmers, uneven lines round my thighs where I must have ridden with one leg of my shorts about an inch and a half higher than the other, lines round my upper arm, lines jabove my wrist from wearing my arm warmers rolled down, and lines below my wrist from my gloves. I don't really mind it tho!

I have tanned circles on the back of my hands from the holes on my cycling gloves. Trouble is they just look like two grubby blotches, and I find myself mindlessly rubbing them all the time in the hope they'll rub off.

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

I've been trying to blend my calf lines for about 6 weeks or more and so far it's not worked!

You should try shaving your head, the tan lines on me bonce make me look like an extra from Star Trek.
